Stand on the Ground / Vendable thumbs

Part of Silverhouses project.
I made the video for Stand on the Ground when I realised that I was mostly exploring land via my phone and then struggling to relate that vision to reality. Intrigued by how the landscape 'built' with a new patchwork of lines superimposed on top of existing boundary lines - hedges, roads - which in turn were superimposed onto older boundaries, I wondered if that was unintentional and if these digital boundaries ever filtered into the so called real world.
Briefly staged with Vendable Thumbs and a vessel made in clay taken from the land that was being built over.
